I have trimmed the beginning of my video off and would like to slide all the tracks to the beginning of the time line. is there a way to link all of the tracks, 2 video and 2 audio together and slide them to the beginning of the timeline?

    Thanks for the help.

Just drag the earliest event to the beginning and hit Crtl/Shift/F to ripple everything else down the same amount.

    Now,

If I put in video composition envelopes and slide the tracks, is there any way that the envelopes can move with the video footage and not stay at the same spot on the time line?

    Thanks again

Using Gary’s method, they should move IF you pick the option that EVERYTHING moves.

There’s also a “Lock Envelopes to Events” button on the toolbar. If that’s on, they should move when you move the events.
