    Hi guys and gals.

Really simple question I am sure, but I cannot find it in the manual anywhere.

I have been a M100 user for 8 years now & I just want to know if there is a way in FCP that I can make the timeline follow the playhead when it leaves the screen.

Is this a feature in FCP or have I just not checked a box somewhere in the prefs? I just like to follow my programme as it goes through & find it a little irritating. OK so not a huge problem, but a niggle I’d like to solve if poss.

TIA & apologies if I really am being THAT stupid.

    Martin.

Sadly, there is no function you missed. FCP doesn’t have a ‘follow the playhead function’ when it gets to the end of your viewable timeline. You can follow it manually however, by holding the shift button and hitting “page down”
