    Hi everyone.

I just got Premiere Pro CS4, and am wondering why when I export the QuickTime file is so bad quality. It is also making my 960 by 540 pixel video into the default 720 by 480 pixels. Judging by this thread: https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/3/887289 there is a way to correct this, but I just can’t make sense out of how to set the bitrate manually.

If anyone could help, it would be great!

The only QT codec worth using is h264. H264 is fine for most export targets from small web video to Blu-Ray. You will have control over bitrates and quality.
The only reason I can think of not to use H264 would be cross platform editing.
