I have never used x particles before, so I’m probably missing something simple. Wht I am going for is making the snow fall naturally and stick to a model house I downloaded. I have only found one Grey Scale Gorilla tutorial, but they are using a nore recent version of x particles, and as suck I can’t really follow it… So far, I have figured out how to get it to target an object, but it doesn’t look natural…Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am currently using C4D R17 and x particles version 2.1. Thanks in advance

haven’t had access to XP 2.1 for a long time and only remember it was very different than 4.
The basic steps would be – emit snow, detect collision on objects, stop particles that collide, when a particle collides change it’s group so incoming ‘snow’ can now collide with that new group (that’s how you get depth buildup)
