    Hi Jon,

    I was sent an evaluation copy about a year ago and it wasn’t too bad (considering I had no manual!) & the demo reel they sent looked good. Although on the down side the render times were pretty extensive i.e. 14 hours for a 5 second animation! But that was on a P4 1.6Ghz laptop. The software was a bit expensive as well,around the

    Ah, ha – they now have put a time limit on the evaluation copy of V3 of the software. 15 days full usage then 10 mins after that….DOH!

    Hey Colin,
    Thanks for the reply. I too downloaded the same trial. Its pretty cool and all, I just wish they had better online tutorials. I’ve figured out the particles, emitters, mesh export….but one question MAY SOUND DUMB is what do you have to do to render the “liquid” effects. Maybe I’ve missed something?

    Digital-tutors.com has a CD of tutorials for RealFlow. But it may not be worth buying if you don’t plan on getting RealFlow.
