    I’m just supposing here. From what I’ve read about control surfaces, some of them display timecode. And some of them are midi-based like the Mackie. If the control surface is seeing timecode, there must be a way to access the midi timecode. If you can do that, a midi timecode to SMPTE box gives you real-time timecode.

    Is this technically crazy? Anyone have any ideas if this would work?
