Real simple scrolling question
I like to edit with an apple mighty mouse (with the scroll ball built into the mouse), in FCP left and right movements of the scroll ball simply scroll the timeline back and forth. it’s a quick way to get from one part of the timeline to the other. In Avid this scales the timeline instead of scrolling it. Any way to change this? Thanks.

well, I got the same question.the scaling of moving horizontally on the mouse, bugs me big time.
Any solutions. -
DOn’t know what to say. I have the mouse with the roller ball and it scrolls my timeline left and right. In the MOUSE settings in the SYSTEM PREFERENCES, is SCROLLING set to VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL?

yeah, it’s very strange, when I move my finger horizontally on the mouse, it does the scaling to my timeline.
and I couldn’t find a way to change it.could you help me with it?
