I am taking some mpeg2 files that were edited in pp, then captioned with video redo. Now importing into pp and re-editing into a “best of” scenario. Of course, we want the previous captions to come across. Problem is I can’t tell if they are. With captioning enabled on the timeline, I see no text.

I know they are CEA-608. I need to know the captions are there.

    Any ideas….

    Running Mojave 10.14.6

You are correct, if the captions imported properly they should show up in the CC tracks above your video tracks on the timeline in the latest version of PP automatically. You could also load them into your source viewer and turn on the CC display and see if they show up there.
