  • reading analog timecode from an audio track?

We have audio from a shoot that was recorded on a 24 track recorder. The audio guy had timecode from the cameras and he just recorded it on track 24 of the recorder. The files are wav files but they are not timestamped (have no timecode) all I have to sync the audio to the cameras is the linear analog timecode track.

So to restate; I have 23 tracks of audio and time code on track 24. I can feed track 24 to a hardware timecode reader but it is not much good for syncing as one can only read the timecode when it is playing.

Does anyone know of a FCP plugin that can read audio timecode from an audio track? I could then timestamp the tracks in final cut. Any other suggestions?
