    Hi everyone,

    New to CatDV here. Yesterday I was entering information in the Log Notes on some footage in the catalog on the server. Today, I am able to open these clips, however they are highlighted maroon and marked “Read only view” and I am not allowed to edit any information.

    Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how I can get out of the read only mode?

    In the server tab of the tree you are simply browsing the catalogs. To open a catalog for editing simply double click on the catalog you want to edit and it will open up in the catalog tab of the Tree!
