As someone who regularly uses AE on both platforms for over 10 years and, therefore, lives smack in the middle of the Mac-Win debate/war (and is perfectly comfortable there), I’ve seen and personally done very many such benchmarks and the results have consistently been that, when the comparisons are truly apples-to-apples, the differences are very insignificant … literally every time I’ve seen an extreme difference, there was some lemon juice in the apple sauce … not sure what (if anything) might be affecting your results though.
By the way, I’ve seen AE speed tests favor each platform about an equal number of times so my observations aren’t a slight against either platform or anyone who prefers one over the other and, if this string turns into a platform war, I kindly withdraw.
