Re Vegas disapear
Here’s an update on my problem. I taught it was my external HD but it’s not I’ve been editing footagge for 5 hours straight now and no problem. The problem is the still pictures in that project.
When the cursor hit the still pictures Vegas crashes, freeze or disapear. This is very strange, I tried diffrent format, png jpeg and all do the same thing, sometimes I can see it crashing, instead of the actual pic in the timeline I have a big red square replacing it.I’ve never encountered something like that before.

Did you try Spots advice?
“If the pictures/graphics are very large, you might want to consider reducing them to not more than 2Kpixels in either dimension.
Set Dynamic Preview higher than it normally might be set.
Keep Preview at Preview/Auto, or smaller.”
