    Hello,

    I client is asking me to replace some footage on a dvd.
    The original files are lost. I only have the dvd. The dvd contains a lot of subtitles in different languages and some submenus.

    I was just thinking:

    Is it possible to copy the dvd files. Edit the VOB file where the part is. Rerender and replace the original file in the VIDEO_TS file?

    Will the dvd still work?

    Any other ideas?

    The dvd is copyrighted by the client, so no illegal thing is happening here…

    HI,
    yes, it´s possible with the right tools and know-how.

    I would advice to use DVD AfterEdit, but you need to know only unportected DVD-folders could be edited and it´s only working on MAC OS up to 10.6.x, as it´s a rosetta-application.
