  • “re-uniting” video with audio in timeline?

Posted by Tom Adams on February 2, 2006 at 7:36 pm

    hello out there,

here’s my quandry… i originally dropped a whole bunch of clips on the timeline and deleted just the video portion …then I edited the audio and exported the audio clips as aiffs to make a cd. now, the client wants to see the video from those audio clips…

is there anyway to simply reunite the associated video with audio clips (and their edited portions) that have been previously placed in a timeline.

know what I mean? any help – thanks

    Type:
    Match Frame = F
    Overwrite Edit = F10
Down Arrow gets you to the next cut.
Repeat this process until you’ve restored your Timeline.

You can also check out the Auto-Save vault for an earlier version of your cut.
Next time, duplicate your project and save it before making major changes.
Always nice to have copies of early versions of the project for just this purpose.
