I’m using the “dramatic” title but I want the words when they appear on the screen to hold for a beat longer. But I noticed that the time adjusting tool doesn’t work on titles. Is there any way to do this?

If you have Motion, right or control click on the title in the title browser and open a copy in Motion. Change the timing and save as a copy or rename. Viola!

Hmmm…It’s saying “You must have Motion 5 installed,” to do this, but I do have it installed. Somehow FCP and Motion aren’t talking to each other.

Make the title a compund clip, option-g, then you can retime.
