    I rendered out a DVD using DVDA onto a R/W disk to see what it looks like on a large TV. I decided to change the font size & color, I re saved my changes & re burnt the disk. The new disk doesnt have the font changes reflected on it. Reopening the project confirmed that my changes had been saved. I looked at optimize DVD, under file there are only yellow diamonds displayed which suggests that everything will need to be compressed. This time when I click Make DVD I take a closer look & note that smart prepare is listed at 7% & no mention is made of having to re compress my Menus. What do I have to do to get my changes onto the disk disable the smart prepare option?

    If I were to disable the smart prepare option it should take considerably longer to render since my files were all imported as AVI progressive scan. Incidentally the final DVD whenever I finally get it, will it still me progressive scan or interlaced & are there any options in DVDA to set rendering options like number of passes etc?

    Thanks in advance

    When you click to Make DVD, then click Burn, there is an option to
    * Prepare current project or
    * Use previously prepared project

    You need to select the first option – it sounds like you used the second, which means that although you have been altering the fonts in the project, you have then been telling DVDA to burn another copy of the previously prepared version.
