Hey everyone!
I have to make a new topic so you all can see that my problem has still not been solved.
My topic was Question about using Subtract and Divide Tutorial
The 3rd post by me replying to Dave LaRonde’s post has more information on the problem I’m having and a video to go with it. I really appreciate the help anyone can offer. I know that there is a simple way of doing what I am trying to do. I am probably only leaving out a couple of steps. Please help! Thanks!

I’ve done everything it says in the tutorial which I get the desired effect.. but I’m doing something that extends beyond this tutorial which is present in my previous topic of explanation. the video is hopefully enough for a reference point. Once again any help is appreciated! If noone can help it’s perfectly fine.

How do I get the footage to scale down inside the matte without the matte scaling down with the footage?
maybe there is a different way to apply a dividing matte

NVM. I got something to work but I can’t use this in my project. What I’m trying to do is more tedious than I originally anticipated and I or anyone for that matter has anywhere near enough patience to work with it. Thanks all for trying to help!
