If I want to re-link from a transcoded sequence to original material that has different frame rates, will I have issues? If yes what is the best option for best quality?

If you brought in temp footage, say archival that is 29.97fps with burn in code….but the master footage is 23.98. OR…if your camera masters are 23.98 but for some reason converted to 29.97 in an offline codec…you can’t relink. You need to over cut by eye.

You can’t link footage to footage with a different frame rate.

If you want to relink you should have transcoded with the option ‘keep sources frame rate’, then it would normally work.
