Hi, working with Premiere Pro CS5 on a project. Switched off OK last night, but switching back on this morning, all the media has not loaded, resulting in many clips being “Off Line”
I have not changed any project settings from last night or moved files so not sure why some clips have loaded and others not?
I’ve spent the last hour right clicking on a file in project bin and “Link Media” – and it loads it OK. But as I have 100’s to do, wondered if ther is a way to multiple link?

Honestly, the best solution is to do this when you load a project. It will stop loading at a point it can’t locate something, and you’ll be prompted to find it. Once you’ve located that first clip(in Windows 7, you can use the search box in the top right corner), it (usually) finds the rest. If you have terrible file management skills, it may keep asking you.

Yes, thanks for reply. I had hoped that to be the case. Speaking to teckies where I had system built, in between waiting for a reply on this forum ( and thanks for getting back)
What they suggest doing was in project window highlight all off line files then right click and link media, the navigate to first off line file, then Prem would find the rest! – And yes it worked.
What I was initially doing was just highlighting one in the project window and re linking ,thinking the other off line files would be re linked. Again thanks for help. Still not sure why prem put them off line to start with, but has saved me hours of re linking one ,by one..
    Cheers
