  Re-link Media Managing crash fcp7

  I media managed a complex project and spent 24 hours re-compressing the files. When FCP7 was done creating the new source material it was out of memory and crashed before creating the new project file that would link to all these new source files. So, now I have 1TB of new footage with no project file to match. Is there a way to tell the media manager to look at the destination folder and not generate a completely new set of the exact same files?
