Re: I cannot import AVI or MPEG2 files
Does anyone know if there is a way to import MPEG2 into premiere CS3 so I don’t need to convert the file at all ?

To use MPEG-2 in Premiere you’ll need an MPEG-2 codec. Installing MainConcept MPEG Pro will enable you to do this.
If you’re on a PC, uncompressed AVI should import. If you’re on a Mac, I’ve seen issues importing AVI, use uncompressed MOV for Mac.
