RE: Flex Warp
Anybody know a good tutorial for use of this plug-in in AE?
I’m going for an effect similar to what’s going on at Animated Storyboards (www.animatedstoryboards.com). I have to create a kind of faux movement. I’ve got a starting image, and an ending image, varying slightly, and I have to make this image (of a woman) move “naturally.” Also, there has to be hair movement. It’s a hair shot, specifically.
I was told RE: Flex Warp was probably the best thing to use, so can anybody direct me toward a good tutorial, or else tell me an alternative? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don’t see anything going on at that site. Except a terrible use of flash and a lot of hard-to-read text in a tiny box. In fact, you OWE me for making me look at that site.

Well look at that. Nice. Thanks. I had some trouble loading this page for some reason, but now it’s working.

Also, make sure to read through the manual first, because there are some non-obvious things you need to know. the manual is installed with the plugins when you install (either in demo or registered mode).
Many people just install the plugins into AE’s plugin folder and forget to look for a manual, which is why I mention that there is one! 😉
The tutorials are more just sample projects to look through and not step-by-step tutorials per se. For this we apologize. But hopefully the manual, in combination with the sample projects, will get you up and going.

Bezier warp is a bit too harsh for what I’m trying to do.
Sorry for ruining your day. I guess I thought they had their reel online. They do these hyper-realistic animatics. I’ve got the DVD on my desk here, so it doesn’t really matter.
