Funny, I had FCPX crash on me twice today when I was trying to add a simple dissolve between two clips on a straight timeline (no FX or anything funky). The second time took OSX with it, causing a hard reset.
Yeah, Premiere crashing. That’s a good one.

Try some Epic 5K with Premiere. Ugly. And you lose stuff.

I have, and haven’t lost anything. Merged Epic 5K clips with audio, feature-length.
But this was AVCHD straight up edit, with audio recorded in clips. If it take Epic 5K to crash Premiere, and FCPX takes the whole OS down with it on AVCHD…that’s far worse, don’tya think?

July 3, 2014 at 2:25 pmNever had it crash on AVCHD so I wouldn’t know. All I felt was that Premiere was struggling and was always on the edge. Like your X problem, it could have been the system I was on (a clients, not mine). To each his/he own.
