In V6 i rendered my video in Mainconcept MPEG -2 , template;DVD Architect NTSC video stream. Yet when i burn the dvd in DVD3 it recompresses the video. i thought that if rendered with these templates no recompression was needed in DVD3. am i missing something?
    Thank you.

Hard to say exactly. If the MPEG2 file is too large, DVDA must recompress in order to get it small enough to fit. If the size was small enough but your menus were too large making it no longer fit, it would need to be recompressed. If you changed things on the Optimize screen, it’s possible that you might have changed something that required the MPEG2 file to be recompressed.

Generally speaking, unless something is wrong, DVDA will not recompress the video. Are you sure it’s the video? Or was it possible the AUDIO being recompressed?

When i try to burn the DVD in DVDA3 the description says that the ‘VIDEO.mpg’ on tack 2 ‘VIDEO’ will be recompressed. What am i doing wrong? I rendered in V6 as NTSC DVDA video stream and the file size is 1.9GB.
    any suggestions? thank you.
