    Hello,

I am working on a G5 Dual 2Ghz with a Cinewave card; I’m in the middle of putting together 3 edits that are made up mostly of 10 bit uncompressed footage. However, there is also some HDV footage that has come from a Z1. I roughly cut the Z1 footage in a HDV timeline and the uncompressed in a YUV timeline, but the end format will be SD so I’ve copied my HDV timeline content into the YUV timeline, therefore the HDV footage has to render. Here in lies the problem, everytime I try to render the timeline it starts the process but invariably gets an out of memory error 34 message, or it simply crashes, leaving me to ditch the prefs, restart etc. I’ve found that if I cancel the render and save all, then I am actually making progress, but this is painfully annoying.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
