re-assigning pre render key on laptop without numeric keypad
hey guys- i am trying to figure out how to have a pre-render key on my laptop, since it does not have a numeric keypad. how can i re assign a key to be my “0” key like on a desktop computer?
im in windows vista on a laptop with AE 7 pro… i have been looking for “after effects shortcuts.txt” but i cant find the file to modify it.thanks

It’s definitely there. It should be under “Documents and Settings/Application Data/Adobe/After Effects/7.0” By default this directory is invisible since it is a system directory and under Vista additional security measures may prevent you from finding it. So check your folder view settings first.
