I’m working on a shot that I’ve stabilised to add some matte paintings too, and now i wish to re-apply the original camera move. I understand that position is the inverse of the anchor point keyframes, so simply copy/paste takes care of that.

But what of rotation? I asssume its as easy as creating an expression to link the rotation of the stabilised layer to the inverse rotation of the layer i wish to apply to camera move to, but can’t figure out how to write an inverse expression as im new to this part of AE.

I couldn’t find anything by searching but apologies if I’ve missed an answer already posted.

    Thanks

    Dave

This might be what you want:

If not do an Advanced Search with Filip Vandueren as Author and Camera as the Search Term, Archives to Yes. There were a few more posts by him on this if I recall.

Perfect! I was searching for un-stabilise. My grammer was the loser on the day. 🙁
