I have a lot of music and sound effects files and I can’t seem to play them on preview. The icons are gray squares with “exec” on it . I tried to import one in audacity and it says it’s a “Raw Data” and I have to import it as Raw Data (and so I did and it opened and it played) I just don’t know why I can’t preview it, because I need to browse and choose music fast. I tried browsing these files before on another mac in preview and it works, and right now it won’t play on my mac pro.

Am I missing some audio codecs? Do I need to install something so that I can play in through preview?

    Thanks for the help!

I’ve figured out that the audio files are in a “PCM audio codec”

How will I be able to preview the files without having to open it in any application? I just need to browse it fast.

    Please help! Thank you!
