Randomizing emitter images possible?

October 3, 2020 at 9:01 pmI am trying to emulate Instagram Live animated graphics such as with hearts and emojis emitting vertically. Is there a way to randomize images for an emitter or stack them in some way? I have this working out with a single image (a heart) as an emitter already.
see example of what I am emulating here, but I’d like to randomize the image being emitted

October 8, 2020 at 8:15 pmWell it might be a crazy idea, but there are several fonts/fontfx built into Motion that create a countdown-type effect by looping the characters. If you substituted an abbreviated font of just the emoticons or dingbats as the source, the emitter would spit out a changing stream of those. How to implement this idea, I have not yet thought thru, sorry.
But you could make very short quicktime movie of a frame or two of all the icons, loop that, and stick it into the emitter’s drop zone?
