    Hello-
I have a question about something I haven’t quite been able to grasp. I have cloned a sphere, added a random effector, and have aligned them to a circle spline. Some are big some or very small. The problem is there is space between the small ones and the big ones overlap, I want them to be evenly spaced regardless of size, and I really don’t want any space between them , I’m going for something that look like an uneven sized pearl necklace.

    Anyone have any ideas???
    Thanks
    Matt

I don’t think there’s any way to do that automatically. Best I can think of would be to use mograph dynamics with the follow animation>position parameter enabled. That will prevent intersection but the result will be sort of lumpy. I guess what I would do would be to clone them in a line, make it editable, set the spacing by hand, and then use a bend or wrap deformer to put them in a circle.
