I am having random (usually red) digital glitches showing up in my P2 footage. Is this indicative of a card going bad, contacts, or sensor issues?

    thanks

IN my experience, it is bad or dirty contacts. Use canned air to clean the heads. But nothing can be done to fix the already affected footage.

Are you transferring the files on a Mac? If the card was not protected you might be corrupting the files with the Mac. I have read about this but never had it happen but it is worth making sure you put the switch on the card in the protected mode before transferring.
