Random Object Selection
I am trying to find a way to create a random selection of objects. I have seen several plugins that do this for points and polygons, but not objects.
Specifically I am importing a CAD file that has a large number of chairs for the audience. (These appear as instances). What I would like to do is create random selections of the chairs to add people – repeat until I have a seemingly random distribution of people.
I do own Di Tools, and it seems I can sort of create my random audience in certain situations, but hopefully someone here has an option for random selection.

If you have Mograph (or if DiTools will do it (I don’t remember)) just take your different audience members and do a random clone rather than trying for a random selection. details would depend on the scene…
