Random image position on all axes
I am trying to make a montage of images that are randomly distributed on the x,y, and z positions, all facing the camera, that can be zoomed in and out of with the camera. I tried using Particular, but the orientation feature of the camera behaves differently with that effect, and I need to be able to use the orientation feature, as well as be able to tweak the positions of each individual image as the need arises. I was wondering if there was a plugin, script, etc., that would just distribute the images randomly on all three axes.

Ok, I gave Planespace a try and the “Cubic Distribution” preset was what I was looking for to accomplish this effect. Thanks Tudor “Ted” Jelescu and Walter Soyka for your help! This will save a LOT of time.
