Random Frame Rate Question
I have some footage shot in 30fps and some in 23.98fps
If I drop them into the same sequence in FCP will I be able to edit and render then out all the same?

No. You will need to convert one frame rate to another. Compressor is what you use.

I wouldn’t recommend it. If you did, FCP will add in the wrong pull-down to the 23.98 footage to make it 30 fps or 29.97. There are better ways to convert the 23.98 clips but Compressor will do a decent job of it. Just make sure you use Compressors frame controls to help with the rate conversion.
