  • Random effector to primitive objects.

I am having issues applying a random effector to a group of primitive objects. I am trying to animate a logo that is composed of about 50 spheres that come together and form a Z. What I am trying to create is a that all these objects come from all over and come together to form the letter. I was trying to use the random effector and just move along the x and z axis. But if you know of a better and easier way than to just animate object by object, your ideas are welcome.

    Thanks.

I have applied random effectors to cloners objects and so forth but for some reason I cant get it to work on multiple primitive objects.

How are you attempting to make it work? By default effectors only work on cloners, matrix objects, text objects, and fracture objects. If you want to apply one to multiple primitives that aren’t in a cloner, make the objects children of a fracture object and apply the effector to the fracture object.
