Panavision FRM should read “Panavision FRC”
Here’s the link to that sofware.

    Hi,

I don’t know if this is going to work but, if you do test with a DeckLink HD Pro card, I suggest you install the drivers and then use the easy setups in Final Cut Pro to select a Blackmagic HDTV 720p/59.94 easy setup. Once you have captured at 59.94 Hz, you should be able to apply frame rate conversion. Hopefully this will work and I’d love to hear how you go.

I ran a little test just to see if the plugin worked. I exported a cmotn (Motion) file with all the proper settings. (See the pdf included with the downloaded FRC software)
I did a simple frame rate conversion and it worked. (to 23.98)
I’ll let you know tomorrow. The people from Digital Film Tree will be there and they should be able to answer any more Q’s I have.

    I’ll let you know.

    You here in LA?

    Hi Christopher,

Thanks for this information. I’m in Melbourne so if you need any help tomorrow during the test, David Spolestra should be able to help you on 317 536 5684. Our LA resellers should also be able to help you if you purchased the DeckLink card from one of them. It’s going to be a short week with Thanksgiving so it’s good you’re doing the test early in the week.
