  Ram Previews from AE slow with Intensity

  Hi,

  We have a number of Decklink HD Pro cards and have no trouble previewing 1080i at 30 fps from After effects through the decklink. But with the intensity card the same project only plays 8 fps per second?

  I spoke to Black Magic tech support and they say that ram preview from AE is handled identically by both cards. This definitely doesn’t seem to be the case for us.

  Have others had a problem with low frame rates through the intensity card?

  On a dual 2.3 gig G5 I can get 30 fps through a decklink, but on a quad 2.6 intel I get 8 fps through the intensity. It can’t be related to system speed. There has got to be a difference in how the preview is handled.
