  RAM preview zooming out

  I am running After Effects CS3 and when I am zoomed close to my timeline and I RAM preview after I am done viewing the RAM preview, with full screen selected, the timeline automatically zooms back out to the entire length of the comp / timeline. It’s really annoying and I have been dealing with it for months now! It is my work computer and don’t really have time to reinstall the Adobe suite so I was wondering if anyone has had this issue before and knows of a setting somewhere that I have missed to fix it?
