Ram preview with guides?

Safe areas? No. Just mask a solid with a rectangle to match safe and invert the mask. Or draw masks on a solid and use the stroke effect to make the lines show up. If you don’t want this to render at the end, make it a guide layer.

Guide lines? No. But you can do the mask/stroke thing mentioned above.

Right – the whole point of a Ram Preview is to show you what the final render will look like. All doodads like guides and safe areas are disabled, so you must create actual layers in your comp to show this.

You can always set up a solid with masks and the stroke effect to create thin lines of a safe area.
