Ram Preview Unstable in AE7
Hi all. My work have just bought a dual-processor dual xeon PC with 2GB ram, & i’ m having problems
getting realtime ram previews.It even struggles on a quicktime refence file exported from Avid with nothing added in After Effects.
I have an Nvidia Quadro FX graphics card.
My little P4 1GB plays fine.
Can anyone help?

Got a Decklink card? If so, in AE’s video preview prefs, set it to “faster”.

also, for anyone else having this problem. I solved it by bringing the Output Mode down to Blackmagic PAL (NTSC) for most of you though.
