    This is weird.

I have a project with about 150 comps in it, 150 clips, and I’m basically just keying each clip and putting a shadow in the comp. Very basic stuff. I’m using DVGarage DV Matte Pro for the keying, and Image Lounge RealShadow for the shadow.

What’s happening is this: Everything runs great for around 20-30 minutes. All of the sudden, my RAM previews seem to run out of RAM after only rendering 10-15 frames. I try purging the cache and everything, and nothing helps it. On top of that, when this problem starts occurring, any change to ANYTHING in the timeline causes the frame to re-render. What I mean is, if I select a new layer, but don’t change anything, the frame has to refresh. Quitting and restarting After Effects fixes this, but it’s kind of annoying. Any ideas?

    I’m running 6.51 BTW.

I had the same problem with DVMatte Pro in a prior version of AE and could never find a cure. Seems less prevalent in 6.5 but just yesterday, I noticed some shortened RAM previews when using the plug-in.

    I believe there’s a new version coming out…maybe it will be fixed…:-(
