    Hi guys,

I’m using an Intel I-mac 2.4GHZ / 2GB Ram, working SD 720 x576 with lots of fee hard drive space.

I’m trying learn After Effects CS3 and am following Andrew Kramers videocopilot tutorials (the free basic ones – https://www.videocopilot.net/basic/ae_time.html ) I’m trying to use time stretch to slow the clip down 50% but when I turn on frame blending I experience issues when viewing the footage.

I can best describe the problems as a ‘stutter/jitter’, video will play normally for a few frames and then it judders, goes backwards maybe a frame and then resumes, judders again and so on. If I export from the time line the exported movie has the same effect.

As a side issue the frame blending seems to generate undesirable artifacts around the subject, which were not present in the tutorial.

I’d really appreciate any help anyone can give me as It’s halting my progress. Maybe I don’t have enough ram? I could understand if I couldn’t play back best quality but for it to export like that? I’m lost!

    Cheers!

    Oliver
