ram preview processing all of the audio and running oout of memory
Hi guys
I’ve come across a really irritating feature and wonder if anyone knows a work-around.
Even though i’ve set my audio preview limit to 15s, when i come to ram preview audio and video, AE processes all the audio in the timeline, even limiting my work area still results in the entire timeline being processed. Recently i had a 10 minute bluescreen video, and i kept getting out of memory warnings.
Does anyone have any ideas?????

Yeah, i can turn off the audio and it processes no problem. The problem is that even limiting the work area doesn’t stop AE from running out of memory. It’s like it ignores the work area limits and pre-processes all the audio file.
Very frustrating. When i get the chance i might reinstall it and see if that fizes the problem
