    Thanks Denis…it solved my problem.
    I’ve increase my RAM Cache Size from 10% to 50% and it worked.

    I followed the tip to use the spacebar to preview for 30 frames and the preview with the numpad 0 back to work normally…thank you mister

    This happens to me when the project file is to big. If the file size is bigger than 15mb it begins to happen. The solution is to do a “reduce project” and stay only with the comps and the files you need.

    I discovered that sometimes I was importing files with different frame rates. My project settings to 29,97 fps when I’m importing sequences rendered from maya at 24fps. It has caused the same error. Have to check this too.

    The problem is your firewall. Disable it, and the problem will fix. I had Comodo installed. Uninstalled it and replaced with ZoneAlarm and problem has magically vanished.

    Working in CS6 i went to: After Effects > Preferences > Media and Disk Cache and clicked “Empty Disk Cache” Problem Solved
