December 1, 2011 at 11:49 pmThis happens to me when the project file is to big. If the file size is bigger than 15mb it begins to happen. The solution is to do a “reduce project” and stay only with the comps and the files you need.

December 2, 2011 at 11:12 pmI discovered that sometimes I was importing files with different frame rates. My project settings to 29,97 fps when I’m importing sequences rendered from maya at 24fps. It has caused the same error. Have to check this too.

April 15, 2012 at 7:44 amThe problem is your firewall. Disable it, and the problem will fix. I had Comodo installed. Uninstalled it and replaced with ZoneAlarm and problem has magically vanished.
