I posted this last week, but still haven’t gotten anywhere. I am getting an issue that says need 2 or more frames for ram preview.

I have my workspace properly selected, I have my time controls, and the preview tv unclicked, but I am still getting this problem. Any help would be great.

    Thanks

Is this any more clear than your previous post? We’d love to help but you will have to be much more precise.

I have never seen the error you are quoting, or misquoting. RAM preview is fully explained in the help system. It will probably be simpler if you just start from scratch, follow the setup instructions, try it again.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”

I have had the error, but did not respond to the earlier post. Because someone suggested the fix that I was aware of. I had a comp that was only 1 frame long. I also got the error last night again on a comp that was 30 sec. long, but I had the work area bar squeezed all the way together.

Check both of the above mentioned issues.

If you are still getting the error. Start a new comp with one of the presets and start over.

    Check your work area selection…

The little blue bars at frame 0 of your timeline. Might look like ONE blue bar because the IN and OUT bars are together… slide them apart.

    Good luck,
