    Greetings folks,
Just have a question about the “Rainers wiggle” plug in effect. It’s the effect that jitters the frame about. When in FCP it splits the fields and creates a line effect on the movement. Now I know I have exported the video out as a quicktime file before and it wasn’t happening on that. Yet when I export it now the line effect is present. Can anyone help me with what export settings to use?

    Thanks!

    Chris

Don’t know about this plug, but there’s one in Nattress Big Box of Tricks you might try called “G Earthquaker.” Don’t use it much but it’s pretty cool.

Also use the “wiggler” in After Effects, or just write a wiggle expression on the position parameter such as wiggle(7,5) or whatever suits your taste. You must scale the clip up a bit though.

    Have a wonderful day.

The “G Earthquaker” can be downloaded free from the Nattress web site.

This sounds like interlacing, which is perfectly normal.

    Hi guys,
    Thanks for the replies.
The video is in master file format so I don’t have the ability to change the effect. I did export a version with quicktime conversion where the interlacing wasn’t there so I know the settings can be achieved while exporting…I just don’t know what they are 🙂
