  Producers need to approach the financing and production of any project like any business and first up, you need a business plan.  Learn how to create a business plan for your film, what needs to be in it and how to make it attractive.  
  Marketing & Selling  
  You’ll learn about the key elements needed to sell a film effectively and how to get your film visible in a crowded market place. You’ll learn the best ways to create an effective marketing and distribution strategy, and how to maximize a film’s revenue potential – while you protect yourself from your revenue going into someone else’s pocket rather than yours.

  Budgeting & Scheduling   
  As a producer you are responsible for keeping on budget: you can hire a line producer to make a budget for you but you need to understand how a budget gets made up, what the big ticket items are.  If you need to bring a budget down- how can you do that and still make a good film?  You’ll also learn basics of scheduling and ways to schedule smartly and keep your budget down.
