    Hi there!

Long story short, I’m struggling to install a 8 bay RAID on a MacBook Pro High Sierra (10.13.6). The RAID itself is called Stardom Thunderbolt SR8 TB-2 (it’s some weird taiwanese brand). I tried following the official guide and a couple of videos that I could find but so far I got nothing working. It’s kinda urgent for a job next week so if any of you are willing to help or know someone that can help me I would truly appreciate it.

Hope you all have a good day and thanks for reading me!

Yeah, I did. Problem is the raid doesn’t even show in Disk Utility. I have tried multiple cables and even another computer but no luck so far.

Thanks yeah I tried doing all of that when once I log in the MSU I can’t see any of the drives in it.

    Hi Anuk,

the Raid has a thunderbolt 2 connection. Is your macbook on thunderbolt 2 or 3.
If it is thunderbolt 3 you need a thunderbolt 2 to thunderbolt 3 adapter.

Thanks for th reply. Yeah I thought it could be something like that but the MacBook is old-ish so it’s Thunderbolt 2
