I have an 8 core Mac, OS 10.6.2 with a 3 TB internal raid array. Yesterday I noticed the raid was a little slow in showing up in the finder so I ran disk utility to both repair permissions and also to repair the raid. I received a ‘could not unmount drive’ message and then the whole shebang crashed. Now the raid is gone .. and about a year worth of work.. but disk utility shows the three separate drives (one without a sub head) and lists the ‘raid set’ as ‘offline. Is there any way that anyone knows to get this back ‘on line’? Or a way to save the raid? This rig has been nearly flawless since I bought it over 2 years ago.
