RAID enclosure SATA and Firewire
Hi there,
Looking for a RAID enclosure. Was wondering if there is an enclosure that can run on SATA when editing, but out in the field capture P2’s through laptop and firewire out to same raid that is transported in pelican case to set?

There are single drive enclosures thyat have both SATA and firewire I/O, but I have not seen any multiple drive enclosures with this feature.

I do not believe that is available in a multidrive enclosure – G-Tech does offer a quad interface drive that does allow for Sata and FW( 400 +800) connectivity in single drive enclosure

I don’t mean to take this thread off track, but how many external SATA drives can be mounted with the card you mention?
Is it multi-channel eSATA friendly with 4/5 HD eSATA enclosures?
